This dark angel comes from the enchanted mind of internationally renowned alternative artist Anne Stokes. Walking slowly forwards, one alabaster knee emerging from beneath her robes, this black-winged angel has a crucifix held between her hands clasped in prayer, her eyes looking heavenwards in supplication.
